Ensō bag is worked from the bottom up. The body is worked in two parts until the handle is being made. The handle is knitted in two parts: a shorter section and a longer section. Then the two parts are bound off, a loose knot is made on the longer part of the handle, and the two parts are sewn together. Lastly, the bag is flipped around and sewn together at the bottom.

Measurements:

Height: approx. 30 cm.

Width on the widest spot: approx. 50 cm.

Handle: approx. 13 cm (diameter).

Yarn:

8 skeins/400g of Double Sunday by Sandnes (50g = 108m) – knitted with two strands held together.

The bag in the photo is made in color 1099 Black.

Needles:

4,5 mm - 40 cm circular needles or straight needles for knitting back and forth. Double- pointed needles for the handle or circular needles using the magic loop technique.

Gauge in moss stitch:

17 stitches = 10 cm
27 rows = 10 cm
